The Crew

Hi All,

There is no point in having a ship if there is no one to use it, right? At least a famous fantasy pirate ship, as Black (Brown) Pearl is, must have some pirates around to talk and sing pirate English (http://www.wikihow.com/Talk-Like-a-Pirate), yell 'Arrr!' and 'Aye' all over the place.

So, the captain decided to gather the crew and visit the crew. There was immediately a problem. The crew, being quite new, was not adequately dressed (no, they were not drunk). You can see one of them in the next picture.

Of course, the captain decided to go to the tailor and prepare pirate outfits for the crew. And of course, because it is modeling we are doing here, the tailor is more of a painter, but for the sake of the story I will name him the Tailor.

First, they started, of course, with a fight (they are pirates, after all). Everybody wanted naturally the coolest outfit for himself and they assured the Tailor that he will not get paid (and other things that I will  not mention here) if they don't get what they want.

 You can check the results in the next images. And here, I will need a bit of help. The Pirates need some proper names, so you might help me giving them the right names.

Here is the first one, almost finished. What name do you think will be alright for him?

 The second one. He is also in need of a good pirate name.

And a third one. He is ready to fight and will kill for a good pirate name.

The fourth looks a bit like Mr. Parrot. But he is missing the parrot. Don't get fooled by his white beard and hair. He is a pirate and will torture anybody for a good name.

 Now, this one is tricky to get right. His skin is still to dark, might need more touches. But he is also a mighty pirate looking for a name.

And the last one. I am still consider naming him Cpt. Jack Sparrow, if I am not able to find another figure that looks more like Jack. What do you think? Does it have what it takes to impersonate him?

Now, here is the place where I would normally end, but today there is a surprise...

Some of the 'competition' decided to visit the Tailor also today! Hopefully, there is a truce right now and no fight was started.

The first one, names himself Captain Calamari, but he can full no one! It is of course the famous and  feared Davy Jones (http://pirates.wikia.com/wiki/Davy_Jones), captain of the Flying Dutchman (http://pirates.wikia.com/wiki/Flying_Dutchman).

And he is not alone! This one uses the name of Mr. Jaws, but again, a closer look, will properly identify him as Maccus (http://pirates.wikia.com/wiki/Maccus), famous member of the Flying Dutchman crew.

The last one, calls himself today Mr. Lean Gustje, but he is in fact Penrod (http://pirates.wikia.com/wiki/Penrod) another member of the Flying Dutchman crew. He is here without his hat and sword, not finished yet.

Well, this is it for now. The crew will get dressed completely at some point and be able to use the Black Pearl for new adventures and treasure hunting.

As mentioned earlier, I will need some help in naming them and maybe in finding a proper Captain Jack Sparrow (he should be somewhere in the 28-32 mm range. The only one I could find is this one, but he is a bit tall.
